GO TO MEXICO! I wanted a permanent fix to my missing teeth, but as a result of having periodontal issues I needed 5 bone grafts and 2 sinus lifts before implants can be installed. The estimated costs from 3 dental implant offices in the U.S. for just the bone grafts...

I'm glad to read this. I had dental implants, 4 bottom, to secure a lower denture.

I went to a very reputable dentist and dental surgeon to have my implants. It takes months for the implant to have bone grow around them in order to safely and securely secure a denture. I am very happy I did this and have had them for 9 yrs with not one problem.

I know you can't do all that and go out with your "new" teeth in the same day. Please see a good dentist.

Always get a 2nd opinion

My husband and I went for the consultation at clearchoice and we were told that we were good candidates for the implants due the the results of the hightech CT Scan that they bragged on...but thank God we had a 2nd opinion. The 2nd dentist did x-rays and told us from the get go there is no way that we should have implants put in our mouths until we first deal with the gum disease or the implants would not take. I knew my gums were bleeding at times and I had some bridge work that needed to be taken out...clearchoice never said anything about my gums, they were just ready to take out the bad teeth and put the implants in...same thing with my husband, the 2nd dentist recommended that my husband start out with dentures that could be implanted, therefore already having in place some of the screws and then "maybe" for 3mos. or until his mouth is totally healed. You don't want to deal with a company that is obviously just about the money and not your health. We are not mad at them, you have to be wise in your decisions.

From my experience with Clear Choice, the CT scan was used to view the bone structures to determine if grafts were necessary, so they could provide an accurate treatment cost. My first evaluation in the chair was complete tooth-by-tooth oral exam including more *** wing x-rays.

I was referred back to my general dentist to have fillings done.

Clear Choice wireless causes overdrafts

No contact information provided for Clear Choice internet and telephone services. When needed to cancel services with Clear Choice my account has be overdrafted. I agree with other pissed customers. The financial guy didn't refund one of the lenders when I cancelled my appointment which ended up costing me another $280.94 and they kept $1000 already.

I do not recommend this place. So expensive and it's not done in one day like they advertize!

I learned my lesson. Hope you do too before it's too late!!

@PissedConsumer541614

the 1000.00 was for the examination and treatment plans and would have been placed on the ultimate charge for the services. You were likely told it was nonrefundable and applied to the overall fee.

The lender issues was a contract you made with the lender so just like it takes time for loans to be initiated, it takes time to cancel loans...so you might be stuck with charges since you backed out. Why did you back out.

Probably buyers remorse, or once again you backed out on fulfilling your dental work. I had a fabulous experience and treatment result and I also had the 1000.00 charge which was applied to the ultimate implant services.

The comment from Nikalseyn reads like a verbal attack and should be deleted. Really?

It had nothing to do with the subject and offer no viable information, except to belittle the writer. That is just plain mean. Thanks for the comments from 302319 - The Ads For clearchoice dental seemed to good to be true. After reading the above comments, I won't be putting myself in one of their dental chairs.

Folks don't have a reason to LIE about a bad dental experience, But will always promote a GOOD one. :) everyone out there have a nice day - including nikalseyn

Clear choice is nothing but dentures screwed in your mouth

Adding to my review in September of Clear choice dental. Am DEFINITELY not going ahead with them, NEVER Overpriced, no price list, must make a decision that day (why) Never really talk with a REAL dentisit, at least not at the Tysons Corner VA location To the person who wondered why no Better Business Bureau complaints My company is a member. If the business is NOT a member, they don't take complaints And if the business is a member, there are ways around the complaint showing up, Clear Choice has very good lawyers on retainer, and they will threaten to sue you if you do not retract your complaint. Most people don't want the expense of fighting them.

Clear choice internet company conduct is unethical and unclear.

I am really disappointed at clear choice internet company. When I called to get info on their services, I was told that I can sign up month to month with no obligation. Six months later when I called with my concerns about their very slow and unreliable services and asked to cancel my account, I was told that I have a two year contract with them and I will be charged cancellation fee and on top of it they charged me for the full month of service $52.59 for 5 days of use. I am really disappointed, disgusted with their conduct.

I have been through 5 modems since I signed up, 3 being this month. I have been sent one 2 wks ago which again is refurbished and not working properly.

I called them and reported this immediately and I was told my warranty has been exhausted....wth???? I am under a 2 yr contract, I have asked numberous times for a headquarter address and phone number. Did you know not one complaint or address of a home base is on their own website?????

I am hoping to break the contract, and call FCC or Utility commission to help me keep them off of my credit rating. If anyone can help us achieve this, I would be greatful

Anonymous until I can get some cleared up

I had my upper and lower done early February this year 2011. If I would have known the amount of pain and suffering I would not have had it done. They make it seem like it is no big deal. They didn't tell me that I would be uncomfortable and in pain for a year or so; they told me this on my six week check up. My face gets numb a lot they told me that was normal. You will have to live on advil or aleeve for a long time. When I went back for my six week check up they told me that there will always be a gap between the teeth and gum that's not how they presented it when I went for the interview. I have to water pick my teeth every time I eat because the food gets under the teeth and causes pain. I have two scars on my upper lip where I guess they tore the skin when they did the surgery. I am not sure what to do about that yet. I am going to the dermatologists to see what he has to say about it. The teeth look ok but not sure what to do about all the pain and numbing of face. Sometime I get some sharp pains in my face. When I talked to them about all of this they make me feel like what is the big deal but I am miserable all the time can't go anywhere to eat because I need to run home and water pick my teeth. I would make sure that you look at all options. I am so sorry that I spent all this money to be in so much pain and to be miserable all the time.

I am so glad I read these comments. I went in for the free consultation, and the SECOND I went in, I got a bad vibe....felt like I was on an assembly line.

The "consulatant" told me I had to have ALL my teeth extracted(what???)another red light. He isn't even a Dr., and he's telling me this. Noticed he left the speakerphone on whenever he left the room..red light...When I ASKED him to give me and my spouse a minute, I noticed he finally turned off the speakerphone. When we saw that, we called him back in, and told him we did not want to waste anymore of our time, his time or a Dr's time and we declined the service.

The friendly smile left his face. He then offered a partial implant procedure(so all my teeth didn't have to be extracted afterall).

Thanks, but no thanks! Do not confuse Clear Choice with Lenscrafter..they cannot and should not be able to give you a bright smile in one day

#278763

Patietns need to be aware of what they are choosing when they have these types of proceedures done. Clear Choise is really not a CLEAR CHOISE!

There are many qualified periodontists and oral surgeons who will provide quality care and appropriate dental implant treatment. These specialists work with general dentists and prosthodontists to give thier patietns comfortable and beautiful smiles. Clear Choise, and those clinics like it, are dental implant mills that sell people on the idea that if they have all of their teeth pulled out, they can then have implants placed and teeth put on them on the same day. Patients will find no long term care that is provided after they have this treatment.

As a patietn, you must be your own advocate. Ask questions! Before you choose to have all of your teeth pulled out, ask your dentist what you should do and for a referral to a periodontist or an oral surgeon who they work with and trust.

Do not think that you will get cheep, fast results without consequences. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it is!

Clear Choice Dental Implant Center - Roseville

Clear Choice Dental Implant Center(s) present themselves professionally. They are well known four their one-day, total-mouth transformations. I was excited to get my work done. My regular dentist had questions about the procedure(s) when I told him of my decision. I contacted Clear Choice and attached my dentists concerns so they could address my concerns. One of my requests was to be able to speak to a "live" patient who was a recipient of their miraculous "one-day" extreme makeover. My request for live references has been totally stonewalled! Three calls to their office and three emails have been met with complete silence. This is an obvious refusal to provide me with any patients with whom I can speak candidly. Because of this action on their part, I can only go with the "thundering silence." It is speaking to me louder than any other testimonial. If you plunk down $46,000 on anyone's table for professional services, I think asking for recent, live, references is a very reasonable request. They obviously have a reason for not wishing to comply. I would not recommend having the most important part of your face reconstructed by anyone not wishing to be transparent. I'm going to go the longer route with a dentist who is concerned with my well being.

we're they charging you that for upper and lower? I had upper and lower done in Jan 2015, still going through ***, had to remove an implant, due to it being bad, have a bottom denture now that fits over the implants because the appliance was so uncomfortable, lots of pain, and now having so many problems with the top, was going to just do a denture there to, and oh my the denture was the worst thing I've ever seen, didn't even stay in my mouth ,hurt terribly, I really think it was some one elses.

I am very depressed,I had good teeth removed, so that everything would match, it's been a nightmare for me. I come home from work and just cry every day, after talking all day my mouth just aches.

So go with your DENTIST, I'm sure he's not in it for the money. All I want is a confident and pain free smile, I don't feel like it's going to happen.

#359432

HIPPA is not a problem here. The office would ask for patients to volunteer to talk to others and those that did could say anything they like. of course the office would never give you the contact info for anyone they thought would give them a bad rating so this route might not be too helpful.

#272343

I would like to have testimonials from live patients who had the procedure as well. However, HIPPA laws make that pretty much impossible...

which is in favor for this Company. I am full mouth reconstructive/implant dental asst and regretted the day I worked for them. Their approach to the "All on 4" is very controversial in the dental field. Any time I asked questions regarding the procedure which were legit concerns..

I was treated and disciplined by the company. My first and only concern is the SAFETY of patients.. not how fast something can be done. I could go into so much detail but will not.

I just recommend to everyone.. get many opinions!!! An implant supported denture is a great dental procedure.. but using the proper amount of implants is KEY!!!

Less is not always Best!!!! I feel so bad for everyone who has had a bad dental experience.. I wish I could make you better ((hugs)) btw, I no longer work for that company..

it was a very brief job. I did not like their ethics one bit!
