I have an 86 year old aunt who had implants at Overland Park, KS Clear Choice. Within a 2 year period, she has had her set of implants replaced 3 times.
It is obvious that she is uncomfortable talking and smiling. The look of her smile and teeth is unnatural and, frankly, ghastly. The woman has not been able to eat much in the way of solid food in all that time. She was told that her heart medicine had made her teeth go bad.
However, her cardiologist had never heard of such a thing. (Perhaps she should have sought a second opinion?) It is inconscionable that she has been treated with such duplicitousness and incompetence. And yet, because she has been treated with courtesy, my aunt does not seem to be upset or angry...as she rightfully should be. In the waning years of life, implants seem inadvisable.
She could have had better quality of life with a good set of dentures.
I truly hope someone is working on a class action lawsuit against this company. Close relatives have asked their dentists about Clear Choice and, apparently, their poor reputation is well-known in much of the dental community.
